Area Coffee Co. was founded in 2021. We are based in Kingston, NY and serve our small batch, specialty coffee throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond.

The name Area is a subtle homage to our co-founder’s grandfather, who helped operate the Ecuadorian airline Area from the 1950s-1970s. Our aesthetic draws inspiration from entrepreneurship, mid-century Ecuador, and a deep respect for those who came before us. While our roasting approach is modern, our culture remains rooted in nostalgia.
