Our house blend, Fairchild is a versatile coffee profiled to meet all of your coffee needs. It's rich chocolate note provides a nice backbone for espresso and milk drinks, but it's bright and nuanced in a filter coffee as well.

This is a double fermented and double washed coffee from Nyeri, Kenya, produced by members of the Mahiga cooperative. It’s easy to enjoy as an adventurous espresso, a pour over or even cold brew.
Elevation: 1700-1890 masl

This is a minimal intervention natural coffee, a Yirgacheffe district coffee from Ethiopia, produced by Takele Mammo Denbi. Consistently sweet and fruity.

You may remember last year’s washed Gesha from Juliana Guevara and Wbeimar Lasso. Selected again from our trusted importer, this traditional washed Gesha is special.

This coffee comes from the Popayan region of Colombia. It was processed at the farm using a technique called honey processing. The honey process attributes qualities like balanced acidity and body, and a fruit sweetness.

About us
Area Coffee is a small batch, specialty coffee roaster based in Kingston, New York. We only source seasonally available coffees from our trusted importers to reflect the various growing seasons of different regions. Our mission is to put the spotlight on the freshest coffees from around the world, especially Central and South America. We aim to honor the hard work and expertise of coffee producers worldwide by carefully and intentionally roasting and brewing each coffee in such a way as to highlight each cup’s character and potential. We are a three person team whose paths crossed through working in the coffee industry. We share a mutual love for the process of roasting coffee and all that follows.
